Malva "Best tasting menu of BAJA" 2016 by San Diego Restaurant Mag.

Malva  "Best New Restaurant of Mexico 2014"

Located at the beginnig of the best Mexico's wine country, The Valle de Guadalupe.

Malva is a 4 year old restaurant at Mina Penélope winery, founded by Chef Roberto Alcocer and Enologist Veronica C. Santiago.

The Guadalupe Valley cuisine is made from the blending of Baja local seafood and ranch grown foods with Mexican flavors. Malva kicks this up a notch by going hyper-local with their sourcing: most of the produce, cheeses, and wines are actually made on-site and wild herbs (including the restaurant’s namesake malva leaf) are foraged on the property. Each plate is beautiful, simple, fresh, and delicious.

This open air restaurant has a stunning view over the valley and while the food is chic, the atmosphere feels casual. It is the perfect way to experience the best of the valley’s food, wine, and landscape.                          By Cassie Kifer
